Once the Man or Woman has gained Interest from the potential subject they are usually asked if they would like to smell the Perfume before buying:

Rumor has it that the Perfume bottle contains a Toxic Liquid and if Sniffed would be Incapacitating to the Victim: This is done in a bid to make the Victim unaware of any further actions whilst they are robbed of their possessions.

Final Note, If anyone Approaches you in a Parking lot or otherwise Quiet Place Claiming they are selling any Goods, Not just Perfumes please make sure you walk away as soon as possible: You are a Potential Victim and may come to Harm.
